6th Grade Fashion Police

I haven't been updating this blog as pitch season seems to have passed. As such, I haven't been putting together new pitch packages. However, I do have some less-developed ideas I'm going to post about a little here. To start, here's "6th Grade Fashion Police".

The 6th Grade Fashion Police are three preteen girls who think they've got beauty all figured out. Now, they take it upon themselves to push their skewed concept of good fashion upon their classmates and fellow citizens.

The three girls are:

Michelle- is the founder of the 6th Grade Fashion Police, and she won't let you forget it. After years of being picked on and ridiculed, she's come to the decision that everyone else is wrong and she simply knows something they don't. Pushy and stubborn, she rules the girls with an iron fist and crusades with determination to beautify anyone within grabbing distance with her personal sense of style. Unfortunately for those within said grabbing distance, Michelle's sense of style is completely bizarre and contains such arbitrary rules as "Patches are the new awesome." and " If you can't cuff it, I won't wear it".

Janey- While also a product of a picked-on early childhood, Janey would rather hide in a corner and attempt to disappear completely rather than be proactive about it. However, she's Michelle's second-in-command to be supportive to her longtime friend. Whine as she might (and whine she DOES), she does find that the job brings out her inner Martha Stewart, and she enjoys being handy. Sometimes, Michelle and Janey's respective unusual fashion senses clash, often causing Michelle to belittle her.

Hunoz- Michelle couldn't be more proud of herself for discovering this specimen. Hunoz, while of only slightly below-average intelligence, never speaks a word of English, opting instead for a series of grunts. The real workhorse of the trio, Hunoz does her best to follow Michelle's (numerous) orders. However, being a little... different in the head, Hunoz often botches the tasks at hand in bizarre ways. Sometimes "Get the door." sounds like "Play in traffic." to Hunoz.

What I REALLY love about this, is the fact that despite being the fashion police.... they totally have dated fashion.

I can actually picture what a few episodes would be like. You could really get into the wretched trends that pop up and dissappear like a flash in the pan.

It's cute. I especially like the band-aid on the hair.

Well, there it is, folks - there IS such a thing as Fashion Police!

Great designs for the girls, particialy for Janey. That little band-aid really does add character :)

Hm, seems a bit close to the group dynamic in Ed Edd n Eddy to me...

Sagan- To be honest, I'm amazed that you're the first to bring them up. Despite having been created years before EE&E, there's a similar character dynamic-- but then, there's also a similar dynamic to the Stooges, the Marx Bros, the Warner siblings, and the Catscratch cats. A lot of people have done a variation on that trio dynamic, and this one is mine.

I just found it odd. Usually he takes examples from Disney or Fairly Odd Parents. I'd be slightly flattered he gave you a mention, haha.

I like the characters they seem like a lot of fun.

What is it with John K. always picking on you? Your style is a lot like his, except yours is an improvement.

Sheesh, the guy makes one hit, and now he's considered a god.

I don't think this show would work. Your protagonists are mostly unsympathetic.
