Ralph & Bichael part 2; Stories

Soooo... I changed the name of the show to Ralph and Bichael since apparently "Bikey" is deragatory British slang. Anyway, here are some story concepts.

Hike & Save- Ralph and Bichael go to the grocery store. Ralph asks Bichael to get a jar of Pickled Atechoke Lungs that's very high on the supermarket shelf. Ralph hands Bichael a grappling hook and he climbs up. It's so high up that the top of the shelf is covered with snow and Bichael gets attacked by shelf goats.

Clone Alone- A local hippie/mad scientist accidentally drops his new cloning ray out of his apartment window and duplicates Ralph. Suddenly there are two Ralphs ordering Bichael around and they're giving him conflicting demands. Eventually, the Ralphs have a power struggle and fight each other.

OctoPanda- Ralph and Bichael are secret agents on a rescue mission. The Bond girl they save sees how Ralph orders Bichael around and confronts them about their friendship. That leaves the three having a deep discussion while dodging ninjas.

Random P. I.- Ralph and Bichael are the new assistants to Brick Duckbill, a detective platypus. Brick has watched too many old detective movies and narrates his every move aloud and everyone can hear him. Despite having the proper gruff demeanor, Brick is an awful detective and can't deduce his way out of a paper bag. Bichael eventually finds a crucial clue while doing his errand boy work and Ralph convinces the guilty party to confess with his powers of persuasion.

(Hey Arica, I used your froggerton photo. I don't think you'll mind, but let me know if it's a problem!)

Ralphy Panda and the Half-Baked Ditz- Ralph and Bichael are students at a wizarding school. Ralph found a neat new spell written in the margins of his textbook and he uses Bichael as his guinea pig. When it turns Bichael's head into a frog, Ralph struggles to guess the spell that will turn him back to normal changing him into various strange things in the process.

PandaRangers: Lightweight Rescue- Ralph and Bichael are Panda Rangers. They start bickering inside their giant robot leading it to beat itself up.

These episodes are nothing short of HILARIOUS. I think you might have the new spongebob here! These episodes are so fresh and new, and I love how you've decided to use Brick! I think the thing that really sold this show for me was the shelf goats. Brilliant!

Yayyy for hippie scientists! ^_^
I like the monster for the Pandarangers story. He is cute.
I'm liking the character-driven aspect of the show even more now that you've laid out some examples of the weird adventures it opens up.

Holy crap, it's Mr. Bojangles!

You know, if the show ever goes over, you TOTALLY need to use photos for the things he turns into instead of drawings...holy crud, it's hilarious. I approve.

I love how the stories have different themes (like wizard school and then suddenly a robot story). The stories seem fun and interesting, rock on Kyle!^^

Oh, man, this is fantastic! Just like I pictured it...you just do whatever you want, so it can go in a million directions. Awesome. And I have to agree with Neil about the shelf goats...that's freaking awesome. And that frog head...holy cow, I giggled like mad.

Too bad that Bikey is a mean name in England, though. I really liked the whole pun on Mikey thing, and it also seemed like a perfect little brother name. But, ah well. The concept shines nonetheless. :)

I love the ideas and I really like the Magnum PI reference on one of the episodes. This show is also reminding me of The Angry Beavers by the way Ralph and Bichael treat each other, but that's a good thing because The Angry Beavers was a great show.

Seriously, this kind of reminds me of Ren and Stimpy sort of styles and randomness, which is AWESOME. However, it's different enough that many people won't make that connection.

Really liking these ideas and how varied they are. It's good that you can use the characters to parody existing things (like Harry Potter and Power Rangers) and then have completely different stories like climbing up a stack of shelves. Really starting to like the characters from this. They show a lot of potential

Must admit though, I've never heard 'Bikey' said as an insult over here. I've heard 'Pikey' as another term for a chav/towny or 'travelling folk'. Maybe it's just a regional thing?

Wow, this sounds like a really good concept. I like how each story is very different but follow the two lead characters.

Is this where you plan to use Brick Duckbill?

Thanks, Ben. I'd still like to do a larger project with Brick someday, but I thought this would be a good home for him too.

Whoa Nelly! Shelf Goats, Hippy Scientists, Frog Heads - only you, Kyle, can come up with such original and hilarious concepts! I was giggling at the PANDA RANGERS title, a true nod to the Classic Power Rangers Series, and also glad to see you making use of Brick Duckbill, too.
Keep 'em comin', that's all I have to say ^____^
