Frog Raccoon Strawberry part 3: Animatic!

Ok, folks, here's a chance to see one of these crazy ideas in semi-action! Here is an animatic for a proposed pilot episode, Trainiac. It's all the brilliant handiwork of John Berry! If you like this, check out his awesome cartoon, "Evil Josh & Billy" at http://eviljoshandbilly.keentoons.com/ !

"Sarah had always had a soft spot for Strawberry, ever since a few minutes ago, when she watched the BEST ANIMATIC EVER..."

No, actually, I liked her before that, when I saw the older version of this animatic a while ago. :)

Dude, this is so awesome. I love the tongue twister joke with the pickle, and how there's just funny everywhere you could put it (like the flashing 12:00 on her watch, and the fact that the train was right there and she didn't need the car, and 8 million more).

And, as before, I love the sandwich and the train and the flaming sandwich so so much.

I love this. I need this on my television. NOW.

Liking the style of the show here. It's just as manic as I was hoping it would be

I really enjoyed this. Like Sarah said, the jokes just keep coming, and they're funny in a really crazy way that I enjoy.

The carmobile!
Acting like a bird when she was in a hurry (birdy birdy birdy!).
She hits a lot of fireplugs. Rare antiquities?
Impound puppies, heh.
It's slick to lick a thick Picklesickle stick!
Key get!
Really creepy inner frog definitely looks dead.
Drilling through tunnel with a sledgehammer and the side scene about the birthday boy.
Compulsively chasing birdie again in a moment.

The clever lines come so fast you feel like you're riding a Frog Raccoon Strawberry ride at Dinnylan!

Brilliant humor!

Whoa! I saw part of that animatic before but now it is even better. We get to see Strawberry in somewhat of a living being. I love the image you posted too, her eyes are different, are they staying like it (cause I like it)

And the episodes are really random, but truely funny. It would be fun to have an episode of her just trying on so many other suits and then put on the frog suit and feel her inner frog self emerge.

And the character descriptions are a lot of fun too! I want more Strawberry!

Oh and I like the logo you put in the newer picture better than the other one.

Is it just me, or is Chief Quimby waiting for Gadget right next to the dog at the Impound?

... Quimby aside, BRILLIANCE! Sheer, unadulterated brilliance!

Evil babies float! (they all float)

I wanna pickle-sickle-blickle-dickle!

Birdie, birdie, birdie reminds me of a parrot I used to know who would sit in his cage and say, "Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty..." just like that.

I love its fast pace.

I have to say, though there are a lot of jokes- A LOT, I didn't really find any of them to be sidesplittingly funny. They were cute and weird, but nothing that got my laughing really hard. still, very silly and I can't wait to see how the pitch goes!

Hey there, found this through your DeviantArt. I have to say I couldn't stop laughing the entire time. The jokes keep coming and coming. Never a dull moment! Very unique characters. Funny script. Fun style. I love!

Thanks for the input, Neil, but how about something constructive? Is there something that would've made it funnier for you?

I really liked the Fire Hydrant gag, because it was really strange but not just random, like the "Birdy Birdy". It also might just be this episode, because I laughed out loud a couple of times reading the other episodes, like the Ice Cream Sandwich and the moose suit. I hope I've been a little more helpful this time. D:

I really, really liked this animatic. It's guys like you and John Berry that need to save the animation industry from this disgusting lackluster streak , and bring it back to it's glory days. I hope this gets picked up by somebody very soon.

I was COMPLETELY ENTERTAINED from start to finish. Nicely written.

Finally saw it! Tho I'll admit it I had to stop it twice because the voices were so annoying.. It reminded me of that Dexter's Lab episode narrated by a kid?

Seeing as I'm Mr. reference and all, I ask- Are Strawb's parents a reference to Take The Money And Run?

sweet style!! reminds me of the good ol' Ren and Stimpy days..
I loved the humor, though if you pitch this to Nickelodeon I can imagine it (the dialogue, specifically) might remind them of Invader Zim.
Still, I like it. Babies ARE evil!

It's great that you've got all this exposition and character description...but you still have to boil it down to a one paragraph premise and a tagline. These directors of development for the networks have a lot on their minds and their attention spans are short. If you can't boil it down to it's essence than you're not sure what it's about. Therefore the directors won't know it either and won't consider taking it to their bosses.

Also making a pilot episode is unnecessary since networks don't accept ready made shows. Unless they develop it with you and it fits their programming agenda they won't be interested in it. I know it's tough but they're the ones taking a financial gamble and they have everything to lose.
